Making Fuel Briquettes

Yesterday I visited a community project run by LWC whereby local women make fuel briquettes to sell as an alternative to charcoal. Made from shredded waste paper, sawdust and water, this form of briquette benefits the environment while also providing a source of income to the community. I wore my crisp, white LWC t-shirt and shortly after this photo was taken a bird pooped all over it. Nice.
